Bikini Competition Project Weight In
Stats haven’t changed much but I didn’t expect miracles after only one week. I do feel better and think that I am on the right track.

Bikini Competition Project Week 1 Wrap Up
One week down only 11 more weeks to go. So I survived my very first week of bikini competition prep and I am proud to report that I handled it pretty darn good. I had a few bumps along the way and had to make a few changes but I stayed the course and I feel like I came out of week one stronger and more motivated than ever to see this challenge through. The first hiccup that I experience was with Meal #1 (you can find my meal plan here). The meal plan I had created called for me to eat a package of plain organic oatmeal. I thought no problem I love oatmeal boy was I wrong. I suffered through eating the pasty unflavorful oatmeal for a whole 2 days and decided that there was no way I could torture myself with that stuff any longer. So I swapped out the oatmeal for unsweetened organic apple sauce instead.
With that out of the way the rest of week one went by pretty smoothly. I did find however that I needed to stick to a much more rigid routine because my current daily routine was a bit chaotic. I was waking up and doing my workouts and eating my meals but then by the end of the day I realized that I didn’t have enough time to eat my last two meals with the amount of time that I was putting between the meals not to mention getting side tracked with daily life. I will work harder on sticking to a much stricter schedule for week 2 (however I am off to bad start since I am writing this post at 2:36am Monday morning). I also found it difficult to drink 1.5 gallons of water a day. Although I drink water all day long I realized that I still wasn’t consuming nearly the amount of water that I needed to take in. Going into week 2 I think that I will have to set alarms on my phone to remind me to drink more water and to eat and very specific times.
All in all the week went well. The workout were tough but I pushed through them and even decided to change things up a get and attend a Fit Camp but on by one of my friends that sells Herbal Life. I don’t use Herbal Life but figured a chance to work out with someone else would be a welcomed change to my solo workout routine.
Here are a few pictures from my Fit Camp workout on Saturday afternoon…
